This traditional ancestor chart will show a root person or couple along with their parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc. up to as many generations as you have in your tree. It is one of the simplest chart layouts but may be quite tall if your chart goes back on one particular line through many generations. The standard style text is printed without boxes and the background is white to allow additions and updates to be hand-written in future years.
